Silca shop tour

Paved Magazine

Kevin Rouse of Paved Magazine recognized HCW's latest randonneur as his personal 2013 NAHBS Best in Show! Kevin R. had a lot of wonderful things to say about Kevin H., and for that we thank him. Our favorite excerpt: "Clearly, there's a great deal of attention to detail in Harvey's design process, but remarkably what shows most in the finished product is a sophisticated simplicity."

 

 

Bicycle Times

Kevin was interviewed by Bicycle Times at the 2013 North American Handmande Bicycle Show, and they also gave a shout-out to HCW via social media and YouTube. Writing for the outlet, the very kind Karen Brooks called our detail work so "elegant" that "Audrey Hepburn would be jealous."

 

 

Velo News

We joined forced with the Rapha Continental team to outfit Nick Legan with this black and pink custom bicycle. (See more below!)

 

Velow News also included our bike in its slideshow from the 2013 North American Handmade Bike Show (see images 7 and 17).

 

 

Urban Velo

Harvey Cycle Works is flattered to have been the subject of a recent Urban Velo shop visit! Their correspondent Scott Spitz had a lot of kind things to say. Many thanks, Scott.

Nuvo

We at Harvey Cycle Works are always glad to see a satisfied customer. That's why we were overjoyed to read Bill Watts's article for Nuvo, wherein he waxed peotic about his "awesome, hand-built" HCW bicycle. Bill, you're awesome, too! And he's not the only one pleased with his custom randonneur. It also caught the eye of the folks at Urban Velo.  Bill is chair of Butler University's English Department, and Nuvo is Indy's alternative weekly newspaper (and probably Indy's best newspaper, period).
